Job Description

The ideal candidate will be responsible for the support of Operations, Manufacturing, Engineering, and New Product Development by providing technical expertise in injection molding and related technologies.

Responsibilities

• Create molding concepts and designs, provides specialized molding problem solving, and integrates molding system processes.
• Formulate quotes for production equipment to support the manufacturing of molded components.
• Identify mold related defects by researching part design, providing direction to resolve issues.
• Prepare project scope definitions and cost estimates for financial justification.
• Create process specifications, request for quotations, factory acceptance and validation plans.
• Communicate molding project direction, assign tasks, and ensure timelines are met.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Chemical Engineering or Equivalent.
• 6-10 Years of Previous Molding Engineer Experience.
• 3-5 Years of Previous Project Management Highly Preferred.
• CAD Software Proficiency.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task, organize, and prioritize deadline driven work.

Pay Rate Range: $65 -$75/hour, commensurate with experience.
