Position: Wastewater Treatment Operator – 2nd Shift

Schedule: Sunday – Thursday, 5:00 PM – 1:30 AM

Employment Type: Full-Time

Compensation: Up to $80k

Position Overview

A leading manufacturing facility is seeking a dedicated Wastewater Treatment Operator to support the daily operations and maintenance of its wastewater treatment and collection systems. This role is essential to ensuring compliance with environmental, safety, and quality standards while maintaining efficient plant operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain wastewater treatment and collection systems in accordance with regulatory and internal standards
• Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including Quality and Food Safety Policies, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), and general safety rules
• Conduct routine inspections and monitor equipment performance
• Assist in troubleshooting and resolving operational issues
• Maintain accurate records and logs related to system performance and maintenance activities
• Support compliance with environmental regulations and reporting requirements

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• Valid Massachusetts Wastewater Treatment Plant Operator’s License (Entry Level) required at time of hire
• 0–3 years of experience in a related role preferred
• Strong understanding of wastewater treatment principles, procedures, and equipment
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
• Strong communication and computer skills

Additional Information

• This is a 2nd shift position with a consistent Sunday–Thursday schedule
• Pay is commensurate with experience and includes a shift differential
• Candidates must be reliable, safety-conscious, and capable of working in a fast-paced production environment
